Customer Reviews

After many days travelling and the many adrenaline centric activities at Victoria Falls it was good to find an activity to stretch our legs . A 0600 am pickup followed a 40 - 50 min drive to and from the gorge was along a bitumen highway and bumpy, dusty African road in a 4WD safari vehicle. The Batoka Gorge Hike was described differently to what we actually did, the steep descent has been cut, but still an enjoyable meander of approx 4 kms along the gorge. The guide Tanjin(? spelling) was passionate about the area and very knowledgeable about the history, the trees and plant and birdlife of the area. A visit to a local village and talk by the village head and medicine man was interesting and included lunch. A slower pace morning trip out of the Falls area to include in your itinerary.. - Karen

A HUGE THANK YOU especially to our guide Tendai. You are fantastic and we will never forget the time spent with you - Massimo
