At sunrise, the water is at its stillest and the tranquillity is only broken by bird song. Watching the river come to life as the sun rises over the Victoria Falls is a magical experience that’s popular with guests on their last day at the Falls as a farewell to Zimbabwe and the majestic Zambezi. Tea, coffee, juice, water, and muffins are served on the cruise, but you’ll be back at your hotel in time to enjoy the hotel breakfast too.

The captain, who’s fully trained in advanced first aid, will give a full safety briefing before the journey. The boat is fitted with a first aid kit and safety equipment, including life rafts, rings, jackets and fire extinguishers, which will be pointed out during the briefing. There are 2-way communication radios and mobile phones on board if the captain needs assistance and for easy communication with the office.

We had the great pleasure to cruise on the Zambezi River in the early morning: beautiful sunrise, peaceful atmosphere, delicious muffins and above all a fantastic guide who introduced us to the wonderful nature (animals, plants, landscape etc.) and answered to all of our thousands of questions.
